Some technical questions

As I have mentioned, I am rather new and uneducated on this blog stuff. So I am asking all of you much more experienced bloggers for help.

If I wanted to start another blog, that had no connection whatsoever to this one, do I just use another email address? This is important because family may read this new blog, and I do not want them to find this one.

And next, in your opinion, what is the best way to show pictures on your blog? When I have done it, I have used a photo hosting service like Phot.obucket, but I would love to hear other options.

On a related note, for those of you that use Fli.kr, how do you like it?

Thank you fellow bloggers!

I would suggest using a different email account. That way when you look up the blogger profile, the two are not connected.

I upload pics all the time, but I have them saved on my computer (from a memory stick). It's rather easy, just click the photo icon on a new post, select the photo you want, then choose the size and placement and click download. I have never used Flickr, so I can't help you there. I don't know if the process is any different. Good luck getting it all figured out.

A different e-mail account would probably be the best way. It's really easy to create with gmail, and blogger works really well with gmail. I don't know about the picture thing, tho!

A different email account and new blogger log in would definitely work.

I use flickr and I've always been really happy with it. You can choose who can and can't see your photos and it's easy to share with friends, all they need is a yahoo account. You can also use some of their programs to have cards made of your pics which is nice. I use flickr for my pics on my blog too.

Happy blogging!

I have accounts on both fl!ckr and ph0t0buck3t. I don't see much difference between them.

If you want to set up another blog with the same email address, you certainly could. You just need to make sure that you choose the "do not show" option in your profile, so the other blog's name won't show up there. Also, I would use different pseudonyms for everyone, including yourself (even if you use the same email), so that you can't be g00gled. In addition, you might want to tell people not to link to your new blog, so noone can find it that way.

Well with photobucket you have to upload pics from your computer anyway, right? The easiest way to post pictures on a blog is to use click on the little icon on a NEW POST. Hit BROWSE and browse through the photos you have saved on your computer. Click what one you want and upload!
